GCSE Maths Grade Calculator
Estimate your grade across five key GCSE Maths topics. Enter your marks, see your predicted grade, and find out exactly where to focus your revision.
How It Works
Each calculator below focuses on one of the five main GCSE Maths topic areas. Enter your marks for each sub-topic and the calculator will estimate your grade based on AQA Higher Tier style grade boundaries. Use the results to pinpoint which topics need the most attention before exam day.
These calculators are designed as a revision tool, not an official grading system. Grade boundaries vary by exam session and exam board — but these estimates give you a solid indication of where you stand.
Choose a Topic
Select a topic area to calculate your estimated GCSE grade. Each calculator covers the specific sub-topics tested in that area.
Number
Integers, decimals, fractions, percentages, powers, roots and standard form. The foundation of every GCSE Maths paper.
Calculate gradeAlgebra
Expressions, equations, sequences, graphs and inequalities. Test your algebraic reasoning skills.
Calculate gradeGeometry & Measures
Angles, area, volume, transformations, Pythagoras, trigonometry and vectors. Spatial reasoning at its finest.
Calculate gradeProbability & Statistics
Probability, data collection, averages, representing data and interpreting data. Numbers that tell a story.
Calculate gradeRatio
Ratio, proportion, rates of change, compound measures and conversions. Real-world maths that examiners love.
Calculate gradeWhy Use a Topic-Based Grade Calculator?
Most grade calculators give you a single overall score. That is useful, but it does not tell you which specific areas are pulling your grade down. Our topic-based approach breaks GCSE Maths into five distinct areas so you can see exactly where you are strong and where you need more work.
This is the same approach our tutors use at Think Smart Academy. During every lesson, we assess students by topic area — not just with a single number. This lets us build a targeted revision plan that focuses time and energy where it will have the biggest impact on your final grade.
