What This Diagnostic Covers

A-Level Maths is three papers: two pure, one applied (Statistics + Mechanics). This 10-question diagnostic samples across all three strands at a typical Year 13 level. A score of 6+ suggests you're on track for an A/A*; below 5 suggests there are content gaps that weekly tutoring can close well before exam season.

If you scored 9–10

You're in A* territory. Focus on the hardest 20-mark questions in Papers 2 and 3 — the 4–6 mark synoptic problems that separate A from A*.

If you scored 7–8

Strong grade A level. The Statistics/Mechanics paper is typically where A-grade students lose marks to A*-level peers. Targeted work there unlocks the top grade.

If you scored 5–6

Grade B/C range. Weekly tuition focused on integration technique, logarithm manipulation, and hypothesis testing language usually moves students up one full grade.

If you scored below 5

There are structural content gaps. A 12-week plan systematically working through Pure 1 and 2, then layering applied content, is the fastest route to a pass.

Need an A or A*?
We'll close the gap.
