Absolutely. A large proportion of our GCSE students come to us with predicted grades in the 3–5 range and leave achieving 6s, 7s, and above. We start with a diagnostic assessment to identify exactly where marks are being lost, then build a targeted plan to close those gaps. Our approach focuses on exam technique as much as subject knowledge, students often lose marks not because they do not know the material, but because they do not answer in the way the examiner expects.
The earlier the better. Ideally, students begin in <strong>Year 10</strong> so there is time to build strong foundations before the pressure of Year 11 revision. However, we regularly help Year 11 students who start in the autumn or spring term, our intensive revision programme is specifically designed for students who need to make rapid progress in a short time.
Group sessions are <strong>£25/hour</strong> for up to 2 hours per week, dropping to <strong>£20/hour</strong> for 3 or more hours per week. A further 10% discount brings the rate down to <strong>£18/hour</strong> when lessons are paid upfront for the term (3 months). 1-to-1 tuition is <strong>£45/hour standard</strong>, with discounts down to <strong>£30/hour</strong> depending on the number of hours committed. We also offer multi-subject discounts. There is no registration fee or long-term contract.
